ASTRONAUTICAL OFFICER'S PRIVATE QUARTERS.
This was a scene which went through 7 iterations before the initial blockout was accepted. All 3D assets were modelled in Maya, additionally nCloth within this same suite was used to simulate physics for the draping of certain fabric models.
The assets were baked and textured using Substance Painter. The final scene was recorded running real time in Unreal Engine 4. I used Da Vinci Resolve for editing and rendering of the final video of the scene.

The theme was sci fi, that of a starship. The scene has a lot of wear and damage that shows it may be old or has been used to travel for quite a while. Subtle hints were left in the environment showing what kind of person the quarters belonged to, such as the photo's and posters in the sleeping area. The plaque above the hologram is another hint.
